5,000 Gallon Double Wall Fuel Tank. Questions regarding this proposal should be directed to the Purchasing Officer. The City of Wasilla reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals and waive any procedural informality. Disabled persons needing reasonable accommodation in order to participate should contact the Purchasing Officer at least one week in advance of the bid opening. o Primary tank to be 5,000 gallons, Shells are 1/4 " mild steel plate, Heads are 5/16" or 1/4 " w/Bracing per UL-142. Venting capacity required = 268,100 SCFH. o Secondary tank to be 107% of the primary tank capacity, Shells are 10 Ga. mild sheet steel, Heads are 5/16" or 1/4 " w/bracing per UL-142. Venting capacity required 286,980 SCFH. o Painting exterior coated with DTM Urethane color White. Labels required; STI Steel, Air test, STI F921 per UL142 and STI F921 spec. o Tank on a skid designed to carry the full weight of the live and dead load. o Ladder at fuel end for access to meet OSHA specifications. o 24" manway access, 4" fill access, 2" secondary monitor access, Venting access, 2 each emergency 6" vents, 2" working T-vent on 80" riser, 7.5 gallon overspill fill containment, Fill limiting valve, 2" camlock adaptor & dust cap for fill, 2" Aluminum drop tube for fill, Whistle vent fill alarm, Leak detector, 1" FOS drawtube on bushing w/foot valve. o Clock gauge for liquid capacity.
