The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is soliciting bids for a Contractor to provide open-ended, on-call litter pick up on US 50/I 595 (from Prince Georges County line to Bay Bridge including ramps/interchanges), MD 468 (from MD 214 to MD 255), and MD 2 (from MD 214 to Roundabout) roadways under the purview of the Annapolis Maintenance Shop. Work activities include removal of trash, litter, and debris including recap, organic debris, bottles, cans, cardboard, paper, etc. This Contract is not subject to the Living Wage Law Rates. No pre-bid meeting will be held for this advertisement. All questions must be submitted to the Procurement Officer no later than Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. local time. Any information regarding the requirements or the interpretation of any provision of the Contract Documents shall be requested, in writing, and delivered no later than this date and time. The duration of the initial contract is one (1) year, or until all contract funds have been exhausted. An additional one (1) year option may be executed at the discretion of the Administration. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to limit the number of persons performing the work as required. The MDOT SHA may, at its discretion, limit any personnel from performing service, require temporary or permanent removal of the employee from work being performed, or required additional training of personnel at no cost to the MDOT SHA.
