Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Waynesboro, Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; development; water / sewer project; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The City of Waynesboro (a.k.a. "City", or "Owner") is seeking bids from qualified companies (a.k.a. "Contractor", or "Bidder") for the Loth Springs Natural Area Project as herein described and specified. The City of Waynesboro will be using Federal and State funds for the Loth Springs Natural Area Project. Federal Funding Provisions are provided in the Special Terms and Conditions. The Scope of Work entails stream channel excavation, demolition or abandonment of existing pipes, grading, constructed wetland construction, invasive species control, native species planting, boardwalk and park construction, and miscellaneous site work. The method of procurement is competitive sealed bidding in accordance with the Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA). All Firms submitting proposals shall abide by all applicable State and Federal laws and be licensed to provide the requested services in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The City of Waynesboro is seeking competitive prices to perform installation of a Constructed Wetland BMP to treat 8.66 acres of urban watershed, creation of a stream channel for a stream that is currently piped from Loth Springs to the South River, and installation of park amenities. in accordance with the accompanying plan set and Technical Specifications.
