The project consists of the construction of two (2) approximately 16,280 sq. ft., road chemical storage buildings at the new VDOT Fredericksburg Express Lanes Storage Area in the county of Stafford, Virginia. The proposed new buildings are 1-story, concrete exterior walls with pre-engineered steel framed roof structure with fabric membrane roof system. The work includes earthwork, storm water management, underground salt water storage tanks, site utilities, paving, and other appurtenances for a complete and operational facility. A five percent (5%) bid bond is required to accompany this bid. When required bid shall be accompanied by a Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2, payable to the Owner as oblige in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Failure to submit the bid bond on the Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2 will result in the bid being considered non-responsive.
