Partial Roof Replacement for Rockhill Elementary School Stafford County Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Each Bid in excess of $100,000 must be accompanied by (1) Irrevocable Letter of Credit; or (2) a Cashier s Check or a Certified Check from the Bidder in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid, made payable to Stafford County Public Schools. For bids exceeding $100,000, the Successful Bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum as security for the faithful performance of this Contract, and also a Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, as security for the payment of all persons performing labor and furnishing materials under this Contract. A Notice to Proceed (NTP) will be provided no later than December 20, 2023 The Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion, as defined in the General Conditions, by July 26, 2024 and Final Completion by August 16, 2024. This time period shall be designated the Contract Time.
