Renovation of a library in Urbana, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Work of the project shall be substantially complete 60 days after receipt of the equipment. The split system scope of work for the First Floor IT Room shall be expedited and installed as soon as possible after the contract is awarded. The 60-day deadline for the main air handling unit replacement is separate from the split system. Question Deadline 10/11/2023 at 5:00 PM CT ALL questions pertaining to this Request must be submitted in writing through the Question/Answer Tab via the Citys e-Procurement Portal, Completion of work shall be at substantial completion within sixty (60) calendar days of receipt of equipment. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of at least 5% of the total amount of the base bid and all additive alternate bids. This may be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, bank draft, or bid bond from a bonding company with a Best rating of "B" or better, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract with the Owner and will furnish the proper performance and payment bond within the time limit established by the Owner. If the successful Bidder files the contract and performance and payment bond, upon the execution of the contract by the Owner, the Bid Security will be returned to all bidders. If he fails to file such contract and performance and payment bond, the amount of the Bid Security will be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages The Bidder/Contractor will supply all materials, labor, and equipment in order to accomplish the HVAC Upgrades at Urbana Free Library as described in the specifications and construction plans showing the proposed improvements in Urbana, IL. Question Deadline 10/11/2023 at 5:00 PM CT
