Renovation of a municipal facility in Hingham, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
A. General Scope of Work: Work includes the surface preparation and application of painted finishes, and carpentry and components to both buildings as specified. B. The work in this Section consists of the scraping and painting of both buildings as designated and considered as the Base Bid. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and permitting necessary to perform the work, as specified, and shall include the lump sum cost to perform the work as identified below 1. Scrape, sand, clean all designated surfaces of lead based and all other existing paint. 2. Complete all included carpentry repair and replacements with like & kind materials. 3. Install one coat of "Mad Dog" primer as specified. 4. Install two finish coats of the specified exterior latex paint. Bidders requiring additional information, or interpretation of the specification and bid documents, must make request for such information through the question section of the electronic bid portal prior to Monday, October 9, 2023 at 3:00 PM Complete Painting and Carpentry Component repair/replacement on both buildings at the Old Tree & Barn Buildings, 8 Short Street, Hingham, MA. The project includes complete preparation, lead paint remediation, repair/replacement of all degraded carpentry components, prime and paint all siding and trim components.
