Site work for a civil project in Newport News, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Bid proposals are due Monday, March 25 at 9:00am Questions are due by March 20th This project will establish a new gravel surface equipment storage and lay down yard in a wooded undeveloped area at Jefferson Lab. The size is approximately 4 acres. The project will require clearing and grubbing the existing site of all trees and adding compacted gravel back fill to create the new storage area. The project also includes construction of a new entrance approach, culverts, fencing, lighting and modifications to an existing storm water retention pond that is near the site. Construction access to the site will be available from the south Canon Boulevard gate. Anticipate construction to start in June of 2024.
