Renovation of an educational facility in Westminster, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Westminster School Board is seeking Proposals for a new Gym membrane roof for the Westminster Center School. Bidders are solely responsible for the actual size of the roof area. Bidders are expected to field verify the size accordingly. Include both the Connector Roof and the Gym Roof that are presently existing membrane roofs. The roof is designed to meet present code snow load requirements and will be used for a solar array to be installed in the spring of 2024. Bidders shall provide a price to provide a 20 year warranty EPDM membrane roof. The existing insulation is intended to be reused. Provide all flashings, temporary protection for inclement weather, all tools and equipment necessary for a complete project. Roof replacement may be done while school is in session with proper coordination with the school administration. Bidders shall include the following information with their bid: Company name and information Similar sized projects References from previously completed projects. Indicate products to be used. All training necessary to guarantee proper maintenance and upkeep. This project will use approved capital funds. All activities related to this project will comply with the requirements of these funding sources. Respondents must be licensed in the State of Vermont. Respondents will be required to provide proof of insurance including General Liability coverage of a minimum $1,000,000/$2,000,000, Statutory Workmens Compensation and $2,000,000 Professional Liability Coverage at the time of their proposal. Implementation of the work is expected to commence as soon as possible and must be done before the end of May, 2024. Respondents must direct all correspondence in writing to Steve Horton, Owners Representative for the School Board.
