Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Westminster, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a educational facility.

The Bellows Falls Union High School Board is seeking Bids for the Outdoor Track Replacement and Field Events area repairs. The outline of the work is provided below: Work to be conducted in the summer of 2025. Remove existing rubberized surface of track and dispose of at a properly licensed facility. Reclaim track oval and starting chute (by long jump) asphalt, which will be used as the new sub-base, anticipating 2.5 inches of existing asphalt. Provide laser equipment grading to shim track properly to meet a 1.5% slope to the inside of the track. Provide laser equipment grading to ensure flat surfacing and proper radius. New track surface to be built using the International 400 meter dimensions. Note: the present track is a 440 yard dimensional layout and will require excavation and base gravels of the full inside turn at the Pole Vault area by approximately 4 feet. Contractor will be required to establish proper radius points around track circumference. Repave track providing 2.5 inches of new asphalt at a width of 22.5 feet, using 1.5 inch base course and 1.0 inch top course. Provide rubberized surfaces as specified by Plexitrac- California Sports Surfaces (or equal). Provide all track linings and markings compatible with the rubberized surface. Remove existing Pole Vault runway, shim as necessary and provide 2.5 inches of asphalt and rubberized surface. Line stripe accordingly. Rework Pole Vault pit to accommodate new track turning radius. Pit to be 19'-8" wide by 20'-2" deep. Provide sand for pit. Remove the existing high jump semi-circle and provide a new 50 foot semi-circle area with shim gravels, 2.5 inches of asphalt and Plexitrac or equal rubberized surface. Line stripe and mark accordingly. Reclaim existing Run Out Chute and provide 2.5 inches of asphalt and rubberized surface. Line stripe accordingly. Remove runways inside field and loam and seed areas. Base proposals on the following quantities for the above-mentioned work: o 2.5 inches of asphalt paving: 4,400 square yards. o Rubberized surface material: 4,400 square yards. Extend and rework existing Long Jump and Triple Jump pit to a landing depth of 23 feet. Provide wood curbing (8x8 pressure treated timber) to retain Long Jump and Triple Jump sand around perimeter of new pit. Provide line striping and marking for Long Jump and Triple Jump runways. Provide loam and seed at all work areas affected to properly shim adjacent surfaces to equally match new surface heights. Provide all manufacturers' warranties and a minimum of a one year warranty to cover all labor, materials and workmanship conducted under this scope of work. Proposed rubberized surfacing product submittals with specifications and manufacturers certificate indicating material is of good standing for track use. Provide Certificate of Authorized Applicator for rubberized surface installer. Warranty for proposed products. Proposed schedule of work. References from previously completed projects. This project will use WNESU Capital funds. All activities related to this project will comply with the requirements of these funding sources. Respondents will be required to provide proof of insurance including General Liability coverage of a minimum $1,000,000/$2,000,000 and Statutory Workmen's Compensation for installation purposes. The successful bidder shall enter into an agreement with the Owner using an AIA 101-2017 Edition and an AIA 20-2017 Edition Contract Form. Payment terms will include 10% retainage, net 30 days.
