Through this Request for Quotation for Standing Offers (RFQSO), the Regional District of Central Okanagan (the "Regional District") seeks standing offer quotations for the supply of property cleanup and associated services on an 'if, as and when required' basis for a contract term of 3 years. Further details on the services required are provided in section 2 of this RFQSO. The Services requires for each individual Clean-up Project will vary depending on the situation of the premises, and no Services for any Clean-up Project will proceed unless instructed via a written Purchase Order. In some cases, following completion of a Quote for a Clean-up Project, the owner of the premises may decide to correct the issues and so no further Services would be required. The Regional District anticipates approximately 4 to 6 Clean-up Projects per year to be completed under the Standing Offer Agreement, although there is no commitment to any minimum quantities of Services. A Clean-up Project and Services will typically following the below steps: - Step 1: Regional District requests Contractor to visit property and to provide a Quote for Clean-up Project based on the scope provided by the Regional District. The Quote will be based on the amount and type of work required, and will be in accordance with the Schedule of Rates detailed in section 3. - Step 2: Regional District will discuss the costs with owner of the premises, and then provide direction to the Contractor on whether the Clean-up Project will proceed. - Step 3: Should the Clean-up Project proceed, the Regional District will issue a written Purchase Order, and the Contractor will complete the Clean-up Project within a mutually agreed timeline. The type and quantity of work required in each individual Clean-up Project may vary greatly, and may include the following: o Boarding-up of properties; o Removal of debris, hauling away, and disposal in accordance with Regional District waste regulations. This may sometimes include abandoned vehicles or RVs/trailers. The Standing Offer Agreement shall be in place for 3 years, commencing on November 1, 2023 and expiring on October 31, 2026.
