Renovation of a municipal facility in Nome, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City of Nome will receive sealed bids to perform construction activities to upgrade the heating and ventilation system in the existing City Hall Building located at 102 Division Street in Nome, Alaska. AECC542 Questions should be addressed to the City Engineer, John Blees by email jblees@bristol-companies.com. A five per cent bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds will also be required. The contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified Bidder as determined by the City. Payment Bond: 100% of the Bid Amount Performance Bond: 100% of the Bid Amount. The date of Substantial Completion shall be on, or before, September 15, 2024. Final Completion shall be achieved by October 1, 2024. Failure by the Contractor to meet the Substantial Completion dates will result in assessment of $500 per day in liquidated damages by the Owner. The City of Nome reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to reject non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids.
