Site work and paving for a civil project in Mackinaw City, Michigan. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway; for site work for a road / highway; bridge / tunnel; and bridge / tunnel.
3.53 mi of bridge rehabilitation including hot mix asphalt overlay resurfacing, concrete deck patching and expansion and relief joint rehabilitation beginning at Pier 1 on the Mackinac Bridge to Pier 18 and continuing between Pier 21 on the Mackinac Bridge to Pier 48 in the village of Mackinaw City and city of St. Ignace, Emmet and Mackinac Counties. This project includes a 3 year materials and workmanship pavement warranty and a 2 year pavement performance warranty. Net classification required for this project is 7976 N9-1A or Comb/Jt. 7976 Cb, N3 In addition to the above minimum prequalification requirement for prime contractors this project includes a subclassification of N9-3A. If the prime contractor is not prequalified in this subclassification it must use a prequalified subcontractor. This subcontractor must be designated prior to award of the contract to the confirmed low bidder.
