Questions concerning a bid must be directed in writing to the designated Design Professional (architect or engineer) no less than ten (10) calendar days before bids are due unless provided otherwise via an addendum. As of November 20 2025 The scope of the project includes remodeling a portion of the Physical Science Complex basement at the ISU Campus in Pocatello. The space is mixed use, comprised primarily of research laboratory and office space. This project encompasses roughly 5,200 square feet and is intended to upgrade existing space to allow for a safe and modem learning environment. A description of the Work of this project can be summarized to include interior renovations to a portion of the basement level of the Physical Science Building. The Work includes selective demolition and construction to provide new general laboratory, office, and workshop spaces. Improvements include new interior finishes, casework, and upgrades to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and data systems. The project also includesthe installation of a new metalstair assembly. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the Contract Documents and all applicable codes and regulations, with careful coordination to minimize disruption to adjacent occupied areas. The Work consists of interior renovations to a portion of the basement level of the Physical Science Building. The project includes selective demolition, new construction, and finish upgrades to create updated academic and research spaces. The scope includes the conversion of existing areas into new general laboratory space, faculty offices, and workshop areas, incorporating improvements that support modern programmatic and operational requirements. Work includes the installation of new architectural finishes such as flooring, ceilings, wall systems, doors, and casework, consistent with adjacent building standards and current university design guidelines. Laboratory equipment, casework, and associated utilities, including mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, will be replaced or reconfigured to accommodate flexible laboratory use. Building systems, including lighting, power distribution, HVAC, and data, will be upgraded to improve functionality, energy efficiency, and code compliance. The project also includes installation of a new metal stair assembly with structural supports, handrails, and finishes to enhance vertical circulation and meet current life safety requirements. All work shall be executed in accordance with the Contract Documents, applicable codes, and governing authorityrequirements, with careful coordination to minimize disruption to adjacent occupied areas.
