The scope of work for this study is proposed as follows: 1. Review Background Material & Data Collection a. Comprehensive Plan - specifically a review of any goals/action items/policies related to civic uses and a review of future population growth sections b. Review Shive Hattery University Avenue Aesthetics Plan c. Review aquatics center documents produced by Water's Edge d. City Council Strategic Planning Priorities e. Future Staffing Plans f. Department interviews g. Site survey/walk through h. Preliminary kickoff meeting with City staff. 2. Conceptual Development a. Including meeting(s) with City staff 3. Arrange Visit to Community with Comparable City Campus Facilities 4. Council Presentations as determined by consultant 5. Final Plan a. Final written report that is highly visual and addresses all topics listed in the Purpose of the Civic Campus Master Plan section of this RFP. b. Delivery of the final plan shall include electronic (pdf and editable CAD and/or GIS) file formats of all concepts/building configurations An informational session during which interested parties can ask questions will be held on Monday October 23, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at City Hall in the City Council Chambers (230 W Hickman Rd, Waukee, IA 50263.
