The City of Portland requests a licensed contractor to install and or repair concrete sidewalks throughout the City. All bids shall include the cost of excavation, backfilling, disposal of old sidewalk, and yard repair when necessary. Concrete shall be bid on at a minimum of 3,000 psi. All concrete is to contain expansion joints every twenty - five (25) linear feet. All prices are to be bid per square foot. The winning bidder must have a State of Tennessee commercial license and will be responsible for obtaining all necessary TN One Calls and have all necessary inspections conducted by City Staff prior to final approval. The Contract is for One Year (1) with One (1) renewal option with a maximum 2.5% increase. This bid document is for Commercially Licensed Concrete Contractors the right to reject any and all bids is reserved. The City of Portland hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of age, race, color, religion, national origin, sex, or disability in consideration for an award. No Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal has been set on this contract.
