Site work for a water / sewer project in Marathon, Florida. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of October 28, 2025, this project is on hold with no indication of when it might be picked back up. No definite date for the rebid. The City is proposing to install two 30" nyloplast drainage structures, one 12" nyloplast inline drain, approximately 110 linear feet of 12" ADS N-12 perforated stormwater piping in exfiltration trench, approximately 80 linear feet of 12" ADS N-12 solid stormwater piping, and one 18x12" ADS N-12 stormwater tee connecting the new 12" ADS N-12 piping to the existing 18" ADS N-12 solid pipe connecting well control structure S-53A to S-53 nyloplast basin on Mockingbird Lane. Also included in this project is cleaning the existing stormwater injection well and asphalt restoration as described in the scope of work. The project is located both in the public and private right-of-way areas, and the City of Marathon will obtain an easement to perform the scope of work located on private property. All construction is as detailed in the Construction Plans and Contract Documents. See the plans located in the Contract Documents for more details. All prospective bidders/respondents are hereby cautioned not to contact any member of the city of marathon staff or officials other than the specified contact person.
