In general, this project will consist of the replacement of (8) eight HVAC units located on the roof of the Human Resources/Heritage building in Pueblo, Colorado, as detailed in the plans and specifications for this project. The intent is for a 1-for-1 exchange of the existing units with the same units. All work will adhere to all applicable mechanical codes and standards of practice. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, money order or bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the grand total bid, plus all alternates if applicable, payable to the City of Pueblo as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proposed contract and bonds within ten (10) days from the date of the Notice of Award. Any inquiries regarding seeming inconsistencies between the Plans and Specifications for this project must be made by Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 4:00 pm (MT). Failure to complete the work by the allotted 120 calendar days shall result in the assessing of liquidated damages The current value of Museum and Human Resources Offices located at 201 W. B St., Pueblo, CO 81003, is $$3,697,000. The Museum and Human Resources Offices was built in 2000 and is of Joisted Masonry construction.
