The City of Tybee Island seeks qualified bidders for the construction of a 275 square foot masonry block building to be used as a restroom, located at 37 Meddin Drive, Tybee Island, GA, 31328, which is owned by the City of Tybee Island. Contract documents and technical specifications are in a separate attachment to the ITB. If a conflict exists, the hierarchy shall be the City of Tybee ITB, then the Greenline Architecture contract documents, specifications, and plans (collectively). The project generally includes the following: Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction of a 11'-0" by 24'-0" CMU wall building with exterior rated wood horizontal boards over black waterproofing. The roof shall be a standing seam roof, mechanical and plumbing features, flood venting, brick pavers in a herringbone pattern, concrete curbing, bollards, fence relocation, and other features conforming to the plans and specifications prepared by Greenline Architecture and attached to this ITB. Schedule and Special Considerations: Work must be substantially completed within 150 days after the notice to proceed. Work must be completed and ready for final payment within 180 days after the notice to proceed. The commencement date will be established in the contract and is expected to be within 30 days of the award. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and related services to complete the project.
