The City awarded project no. MUN-2023-1033, “Library Street and Sewall Street Area Water System Improvements” to vendor R&D Site Development, Inc. of Groveland, MA in the amount of $4,914,439.11 for their Base Bid plus Alternates A & B. Anticipated start dates for work under this contract have yet to be determined. Library Street and Sewall Street Area Water System Improvements The total program scope of work includes the construction of approximately 10,615 linear feet of water mains in seventeen (17) streets of the Library/Sewell Neighborhood section of Revere, including 6-inch and 8-inch ductile iron pipes, valves, fittings, hydrants, and water services, temporary water piping for all streets, and removal and disposal of existing water mains, hydrants,valves and appurtenances. Surface construction shall include temporary and permanent paving over trench limits, sidewalk panel and curbing reconstruction at water services. The scope of work also includes construction zone safety and traffic management, handling and disposal of excavated materials in accordance with regulations, and coordination of work Any request for interpretation of plans and specifications may be submitted in writing by 4:00 pm on November 7, 2023.
