Site work for a water / sewer project in Honolulu, Hawaii. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project includes the second increment of sewer relief and sewer rehabilitation projects identified by capacity assessment, facility planning and condition assessments. This project covers the sewer collection basin that is tributary to the Ala Moana Wastewater Pump Station, which is roughly from the downtown and Punchbowl areas going eastward to Niu Valley. Project may include, but is not limited to, some improvements to meet 2010 Consent Decree requirements which have construction completion schedule allowed after 2020. As of September 8, 2025, this project is included in the City and County of Honolulu's Fiscal Year 2025 -2030 CIP and funding for construction is allocated for FY 2027 and FY 2030. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
