City of Hermiston 180 N.E. 2nd Street Hermiston, Oregon 97838 The City of Hermiston, Oregon, invites Bids for the construction of Water Service Line Inventory - 2023. The Work for this Project includes exposing water service lines in front and back of select City of Hermiston water meter boxes to determine the type of pipe used. An inventory of water service line pipe will be made including a scratch test and a check of magnetism to determine the potential for lead pipe and to track test results in an Owner-provided database. Additional work, including removal and replacement of water meter boxes, will also be required at a few select locations. Restoration of the inventory area shall occur, together with all other Work required to complete the Project as shown on the Figures and described in the Specifications. Minority and women-owned businesses should indicate they are a minority on the Plan holders List. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this Project. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
