Construction of Walking Trails along PTH No. 9 and the Intersections crossings of PTH 9 and PTH 44, PTH 9 and PR 410, and PTH 9 and PTH 27 for the R.M. of St. Andrews The intent of this tender call is to obtain an offer to perform work for the RM of St. Andrews, to supply materials, equipment, and labour necessary to complete the construction of Walking Trails along PTH No. 9 and the Intersections crossings of PTH 9 and PTH 44, PTH 9 and PR 410, and PTH 9 and PTH 27 using the Standard Construction Specifications of Manitoba Infrastructure. Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure will be supplying and installing all related Pedestrian Displays and Signs complete with Countdown Timers and Push Buttons The Tenderer understands that the RM reserves the right to reject any or all tenders, and not necessarily accept the lowest tender, if it does not meet all specifications. Work is to commence after April 1, 2024 and is to be completed on July 31, 2024. The accepted bidder shall provide a 50 % performance bond for the faithful performance of the work. The bond shall be maintained in force for a period of 1 full month after the issue of the final certificate. All bonding costs are to be included in the stipulated price. Trail construction in low areas to be compacted clay with sloped edges and 125mm of compacted A base or ¾ down limestone and 25mm of compacted 1/4 down limestone. Clay can be obtained from RM's disposal site at North East corner of St. Andrews Airport on Liss Road.
