Renovation of a mixed-use development in Linthicum Heights, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Register as a Plan Holder to receive updated information. A. Demolish existing mechanical systems and associated piping, ductwork and controls as indicated on plans. B. Provide new mechanical systems and associated piping, ductwork, and controls as indicated on plans. C. Remove cooling tower, condensing water infrastructure and chilled water infrastructure and provide two new air-cooled chillers located in a new chiller yard adjacent to the existing boiler room along with new chilled water infrastructure. D. An automatic temperature controls contractor shall be contracted directly through the Owner. Refer to Section 23 0900 for automatic temperature control coordination and installation requirements. E.Mechanical and Electrical contractors shall be registered Service Providers under BGE's Energy Solutions for Business program. If either contractor is not registered as an approved Service Provider they must complete the online registration through the BGE Energy Solutions for Business website F. Demolish portions of existing sprinkler system to accommodate installation of new ductwork and piping. G. Provide condensate piping to new air conditioning equipment. H. Demolish portions of existing and provide new storm water piping to accommodate the replacement or relocation of roof drains. I. Modify existing building structure and provide new dunnage on roof to accommodate work of this contract. J. Provide masonry enclosure to house air-cooled chiller. K. Limited modifications to existing building architecture to accommodate work of this contract. L. Demolish and replace ceilings as indicated to accommodate mechanical, electrical, structural, and fire protection work. M. Remove and reinstall existing ceiling mounted lighting fixtures and devices as indicated at removed / demolished ceilings. N. Provide power connections, conduit and wiring to new mechanical motors and equipment installed under Base Bid and Alternates (as accepted). O. Replace the existing fire alarm control panel and all 188 existing Hochiki fire alarm initiating devices. P. Provide a new 2500A-277/480V switchboard to support mechanical equipment panels and lighting fixture panels. Q. Provide new panelboards, transformers and feeders as indicated on drawings. R. Run branch circuit wiring and feeders in crawlspace where indicated on drawings. S. Base bid includes patching roofing systems at demolished mechanical and plumbing system components and tie new roof curbs into existing roofing systems. Project includes an add alternate for replacement of the existing roofing system. T. Project is be phased with the following milestones. 1. Phase S1 is Milestone #1 and ends 08-25-2024. 2. Phase A1.1 is Milestone #2 and ends 10-27-2024. 3. Phase A1.2 is Milestone #3 and ends 12-29-2024. 4. Phase A1.3 is Milestone #4 and ends 02-23-2025. 5. Phase A1.4 is Milestone #5 and ends 04-20-2025. 6. Phase 1A-5 is Milestone #6 and ends 06-15-2025. 7. Phase S2 is Milestone #7 and ends 08-24-2025. 8. Phase A2.1 is Milestone #8 and ends 11-02-2025. 9. Phase A2.2 is Milestone #9 and ends 01-11-2026. 10. Phase A2.3 is Milestone #10 and ends 03-29-2026. 11. Phase A2.4 is Milestone #11 and ends 06-14-2026. 12. Phase S3 is Milestone #12 and ends 08-23-2026.
