Site work, paving and addition to a civil project in Belton, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and for the addition of a road / highway.
The work consists of building an additional lane between Powell Parkway and I-49 southbound ramps, reconstruction of the Powell Parkway traffic signal, islands, removal of the Peculiar and Routh 58 intersection, 173rd street extension to Cunningham and reconfigure the Peculiar Drive and Cunningham intersection. Completion Date: October 1, 2024, except for traffic signal construction. Traffic Signal work shall be completed no later than 45 days after receiving the traffic signal poles, The bidder agrees that, should the bidder fail to complete the work in the time specified or such additional time as may be allowed by the engineer under the contract, the amount of liquidated damages to be recovered in accordance with Sec 108 shall be as follows: Liquidated damages per day $1625'' Direct all questions to Greg Rokos, Director of Public Works, at grokos@belton.org
