Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for the Custodial services for (10) ten Okeechobee County Facilities and (8) eight Parks Locations and (1) one Cemetery. The contractor will provide all personnel, cleaning materials, cleaning equipment and supplies, including but not limited to trash bags, soaps, polish, cleaners, toilet tissue and paper towels. One (1) hour emergency response time is required. o The bid will be awarded for a three (3) year period and can be renewed for up to two (2) additional one (1) year terms subject to the agreement of both parties.
o The Contractor is required to provide to the County a National Criminal Record Search report on ALL employees. The report shall be received and approved before ANY employee commences work.
o CONTRACTOR must utilize, and must expressly require all subcontractors to utilize, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system to verify the employment eligibility of all new employees hired by CONTRACTOR and any subcontractors during the Term of this Agreement
o By submitting a Bid, the Contractor affirmatively states, under penalty of perjury, that pursuant to F.S. 288.061
(6) it is registered with and uses the E-Verify system, as defined in s. 448.095, to verify the work authorization status of all newly hired employees. THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE BID AND WILL BE USED TO EVALUATE BIDS. Cost (building bid forms must be completed) attached herewith, Cost per square foot (to allow for additions or deletions of areas to be cleaned), Number of personnel to be used for cleaning, References, Emergency cleaning services contact phone number, List of anticipated subcontracted work and vendor name. Additional pre bid meeting note: The Purpose Of The Mandatory Pre-bid Meeting Is To Provide Site Visits To The Locations. Directions To The Locations Will Be Given And Site Visits Will Take Place At This Time. Any Questions Will Need To Be In Writing Addressed To The Purchasing Agent.
