Question Submission Deadline:November 10, 2023, 5:00pm Washington County is seeking bids for fire alarm replacement at Harkins House located at 244 W. Main Street in Hillsboro, Oregon 97124. The Harkins House is a 2 story building with 14,300 sqft. Washington County would like to replace the current Simplex 4010 proprietary system to a Silent Knight non-proprietary system including all field devices. The County HIGHLY encourages attendance at the site walk meeting. Washington County is replacing the fire alarm system at Harkins House. We're replacing the current Simplex 4010 proprietary system to a Silent Knight non-proprietary system including all field devices. We are replacing the fire alarm devices and panels 'like-for-like'. Due to the nature of the work, your participation in the site walk is required to quantify the necessary devices. Please see the attached Fire Alarm plans to estimate the devices in the existing system. All work needs to be drawn, permitted, approved and inspected by the authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ). The system must connect to our County monitoring system, which bridges from our Alarm Central Station to Metro Fire.
