Answers posted to Demandstar November 30, 2023 Estimated Notification of Award: January 4, 2024 Madison College often needs professional architectural, engineering, environmental, and signage design services for capital projects such as investigations, studies, reports, design of projects and other design related services. The aim of this RFP is to contract with architectural, engineering, environmental, and signage design firms who will agree to be available to provide these services. In general, the scope of professional services for various Madison College projects will minimally include but not be limited to the following
1. Detailed Programming/Space Needs Analysis from Educational Specifications.
2. Civil Engineering Services for Full Site Development. When applicable
3. Schematic Drawings.
4. Design Development.
5. Life Cycle Cost Analysis.
6. Contract Documents.
7.Structural Engineering.
8.Coordination of Plumbing Engineering. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or parts of proposals for any reason, to waive any irregularities in any proposal
or to make the award in such manner as may be deemed by the District to be right and proper and in the best interest of the District and said determination shall be final. Under the Contract, Project Orders may be issued during the three-year term for the period January 2024 through January 2027. This three-year period shall be referred to as the "Contract Term." The District reserves the right to renew this contract for two (2) additional one-year periods. It is understood that the services under the Project Orders issued may not be completed during the Contract Term: however, all terms and conditions of this Contract, including all rights and obligations, shall survive until the work is completed. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
