The project is expected to be awarded on December 18th 2023. The Project consists of the construction of a new gymnastics facility for the City of Cheyenne. The building will be a Pre-engineered Metal Building of approximately 26,000 square feet. The Project involves furnishing all labor, materials, services, and equipment required for the project, including, but not limited to excavation, construction of concrete foundations, pre-engineered steel building, metal stud framed walls and partitions, insulation, doors and frames, aluminum-framed storefront, finishes, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and other related items of work. This project is federally funded, therefore, no in-state preference will be used. Although the 5% Wyoming Bidder Preference will not be applied to this Bid, Wyoming Statute & 16-6-203. 'Required resident labor on public works', will be required. All contractors (in or out of state) will need to advertise with the State of Wyoming, Department of Workforce Services prior to the commencement of the project. Bid guarantee in the amount of 5% of the total bid must accompany any bid submitted. The 5% bid guarantee may be in the form a bid bond secured and issued by a surety or guaranty company authorized to do business in the State of Wyoming or a cashier's check made payable to the City of Cheyenne. The successful bidder shall furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid. A surety bond is required for contracts over $150,000.00. Provisions of Wyoming Statute 15-1-113 are, by reference, made an express part of the contract documents. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities in the bidding.
