Harrison Schmitt Elementary Parking Lot, Phase 2 Scope ofWork: Scope ofwork is approximately 160 Ifby 67 If. *Drawings attached Contractor is responsible for the removal ofspoilage necessary to create the parking lot to established grade. New, 3,500 psi concrete paving mix to be installed per current State highway engineering guidelines, at 6" thickness. Reinforce concrete mix with I6" #4 rebar every 16" on-center Control/Contractionjoints to be set every 12 feet with expansion joints sealed. 6" Concrete curbing *Drawings attached The overall distance ofnew concrete paving shall be determined by the existing budget however bid should be calculated per specifications. Scheduled start and finish dates are: (6/03/24 - 7/31/23). All work shall be performed in a general construction like manner following all State and local codes and ordinances. Contractor shall provide all applicable permitting, staking, and line location as necessary. Contractor shall be responsible for securing the work site in order to insure the safety of the public, staff, and students ofthe District to include signage, temporary fencing, barricades, etc. Contractor shall be responsible to repair all damages to adjacent property. Contractor shall be required to provide bonding ifthe overall construction cost exceeds $25,000.00 and follow the State wage determination. Per NMDOT requirements the contractor shall provide the District with a certificate of insurance with the District named on the cert. Contractor shall provide the District with a completed "Equipment Summary and As Build Summary ofCosts and Quantities" copies ofwhich are included in this package.
