Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for the construction of a multi-residential development.
SEPTA is seeking a Request for Information (RFI) related to transit-oriented development opportunities on approximately 6.5 acres located along the Schuylkill River at 101 Washington Street in Conshohocken Borough. The site is adjacent to SEPTAs recently modernized Conshohocken Regional Rail Station. The original purpose of the site was to support the ADA improvements to the new regional rail station, and to construct an approximately five hundred parking stalls across structured and flat-lot parking facilities. As part of this RFI, SEPTA would like to explore a development opportunity that includes the construction of a similar number of parking spaces for transit riders, as originally intended, as well as multifamily apartments (the Project) that would utilize a portion of the parking. SEPTA is conducting an industry review to gain market insight with the goal of finalizing its Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation documents. SEPTA is seeking to acquire information related to transit-oriented development opportunities on approximately 6.5 acres located along the Schuylkill River at 101 Washington Street in Conshohocken Borough. SEPTA requests that interested parties submit an RFI response document containing responses to the Authority questions and technical specification comments no later than 3:00 pm EST on Friday, November 10, 2023. SEPTA does not intend to hold discussions at this time; however, SEPTA may contact interested parties to schedule individual meetings with SEPTAs staff either at our headquarters in Philadelphia or virtually via teleconference. When the review is completed, SEPTA intends to solicit and then award a contract for the101 Washington Street, Conshohocken, Transit Oriented Development Opportunity . Interested parties submissions will be in the form of responses to SEPTAs questions regarding the features of the system along with any comments pertaining to the attached Scope of Work. Please note: This is not a vendor selection process If your organization is interested in this project, please send an RFI letter, to the attention of Heather Casullo, via email, at hcasullo@septa.org. In participating in this RFI, the Proposer is unconditionally agreeing to the following; (i) SEPTA will be authorized to use any information submitted, referenced, or presented during this RFI including, but not limited to, within the final scope of work; (ii) SEPTA shall be authorized to reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works from any information received during this RFI; and (iii) SEPTA shall not be obligated to engage or otherwise compensate Proposer in any manner or for any reason for SEPTAs use of any information and / or material submitted by during this RFI, or information contained therein, or any other right granted hereunder. This letter must not be interpreted as an award of a contract or as a commitment to reimburse for any costs incurred in the preparation or participation of this RFI. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
