Site work for a swimming pool in Highland Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a swimming pool.

The Park District of Highland Park is accepting sealed bids for the 2024 Hidden Creek Aqua Park Pool Shell Maintenance Project. The Park Board of the Park District of Highland Park reserves the right to reject any or all bids in full or in part, if it shall deem it in the public interest to do so. In submitting a bid, Contractor acknowledges that Contractor must comply with all requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and all other applicable Illinois laws. The Park District of Highland Park is seeking sealed bids for the following scope of work: Pool Shell Patching and Painting at Hidden Creek Aqua Park, Highland Park, Illinois. The scope of work includes all necessary workmanship to satisfactorily complete the work as required by the contract documents. Work will start March 18, 2024, and conclude by May 3, 2024. Refer to the following site schedule/scope of work: Scope: Repair and Paint Pool Shell Work includes: o Prep work, including TSP and acid washing, power washing, removal of damaged surface. o Sand or water blast pool to remove loose plaster and concrete. o Saw cut under gutter and around all orifices. o Tap to discover hollow areas and remove. o Repair damaged areas, patch chipped concrete and replace missing tile and grout, as needed. o Furnish and install 2" x 2" wall and lane ceramic tile (cobalt blue) as needed. o Furnish and install paint for 4" wide transition to all stairs tread edges (cobalt blue) o Furnish and install paint for 4" wide transition lines (2) (cobalt blue) o Apply white marcite marble type plaster finish approximately 1/2 " thick. o Paint swimming pool shell with Olympic Zeron Epoxy Pool coating (blue) o Apply special bond kote to interior surface. o Provide anti-skid additives where required. o Apply white marcite marble type plaster finish approximately 1/2 " thick. o Caulk the expansion joints in the pool where needed with proper material for conditions. o Paint HP Emblem, line markings (colors to be approved by OWNER). o Comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations promulgated by any Federal, State, County, Municipal, Park District, including the State of Illinois Prevailing Wage Act.
