Purpose and Background: The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to solicit bids from interested and qualified Vendors for pressure washing services for both the North and South Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) Transfer Station Buildings. The City does not currently have contracts with vendors that provide pressure washing services. These services will only be used once per year for one of the Transfer Station Buildings exterior or interior pressure washing. Single Award: The City intends to award one contract and does not anticipate multiple awards. Regardless, the City reserves the right to make multiple or partial awards. SPECIFICATIONS AND SCOPE OF WORK General Scope of Services for all SPU Transfer Stations Performance Tasks and Work Schedule: SPU may authorize work during hours other than what is listed below due to activity at the Transfer Station. All Work must be scheduled with SPU representative at the Transfer Station location and will be accomplished during the hours scheduled. SPU will likely authorize only one job per year on the resulting contract. A job is either the interior or exterior pressure washing of one of the Transfer Station Buildings. LICENSING AND BUSINESS TAX REQUIREMENTS The Vendor must meet all licensing requirements that apply to their business immediately after contract award or the City may reject the Vendor before contract execution. Carefully consider related costs before submitting an offer, as the City does not separately pay or reimburse licensing costs.
