The Work comprises of the removal of existing CMP Storm pipes and replacing them with new resized RCP Storm drain pipes. Work is anticipated to begin March 2024. Notice to Proceed will be issued on or around the week of March 11th, 2024, weather dependent. LOCATION OF THE WORK: The Work to be constructed is located at 6200 South on the border between Kearns Metro and West Jordan City, UT COMPLETION OF WORK: Time is of the essence. The Work must be completed within 60 calendar days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. BID SECURITY: If the bid is awarded as the winning bid, the bidder will promptly obtain the required bonds and insurance and will prepare the required submittal documents and execute the Contract. All such questions should be received November 30, 2023, @ 10:00 a.m. MST. Answers to questions will be posted on the Utah Public Procurement Place which will then email the answer to all Vendors that downloaded the BID. GUARANTEE OF BID PRICE: The Bidder shall guarantee the Total Bid Price for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from the date of Bid opening. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE CLASSIFICATION: The City has determined the Bidder shall possess the following contractor licenses at the time of the bid submittal: Utah General Contractor License E100. If the City requests proof of a Bidder's General Contractor's License, Bidder must provide such to the City within 3 business days from the time of the City's request BIDDER'S LICENSING STATEMENT: The Bidder shall list in the bid, his or her contractor's license number and date of expiration of the contractor'slicense. Bids received after this deadline will be late and ineligible for consideration. Following the deadline, the names of those responding to the Bid will be made public.
