The location of the work is as indicated on the Drawings. 1. The project will be constructed on the 2MG Acord Tank located at 1500 West 3100 South, West Valley City, Utah (GPS Coordinates: 40.705548 -111.933885). The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the facilities and appurtenances thereto as included in the Contract Documents. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Obtaining all permits. 2. Project supervision. 3. Mobilization/Demobilization. 4. Removal of existing coatings on the interior and exterior of an aboveground steel water storage tank, interior and exterior coating application, structural repairs (roof, shell, and floor settlement) and miscellaneous tank modifications (exterior ladder and safety cage, and intermediate platform, and roof handrail, replacement of existing reservoir vent, removal and replacement of interior roof rafter and girder bolts), hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal, and all work as shown on the Drawings. CONTRACT TIME A. The Work will be Substantially Completed 120 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. All questions relating to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to the Engineer for the project. It shall be understood, however, that no interpretations of the specifications will be made by telephone, nor will any "or equal" products be considered for approval prior to award of contract.
