This contract is for the inspection of local sewers and manholes (includes light cleaning), project management, contract management and related services issued via Task Orders managed by DC Water's Department of Engineering and Technical Services (DETS). DC Water anticipates inspecting more than 120 miles of local sewers in three (3) years under this Contract and awarding multiple contracts under this solicitation. Estimate Contract Value: $12,000,000. Consultants are aware that this project will be subject to DC Water's Business Diversity Equity and Inclusion initiatives. The utilization goals for certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises will be in effect as will mandatory requirements for a robust and active engagement with the certified firm community. Additionally, consultants will be expected to support DC Water's local hiring initiatives, specifically targeting jobs and training opportunities (to include apprenticeship) for residents in underserved communities. Estimated Contract Duration: 3-Year Base Term with 2 one Year options.
