The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (Department) is seeking a Contractor to furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform reclamation activities at The Gifford Road Pit reclamation project, located in the City of Rome. The Gifford Road Pit is a sand and gravel mine consisting of a 56.2-acre life of mine with approximately 22 acres requiring reclamation work. Total MWBE Participation Goals: 30% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Bidders shall adhere to the NYS DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION GUIDELINES REGARDING PERMISSIBLE CONTACTS DURING A PROCUREMENT AND THE PROHIBITION OF INAPPROPRIATE LOBBYING INFLUENCE.
