The City of Patterson Engineering Services Department seeks a qualified traffic and/or transportation consultant to conduct a traffic survey to update the speed limits on approximately 16 roadway segments that may be expanded up to 25 roadway segments. See Attachment A, Speed Survey Street Segments, for a map of the street segments. a) Conduct speed survey in each speed zone;
b) Identify roadway, traffic, and roadside conditions not readily apparent to the driver that may affect speed zones;
c) Recommend the speed limit in each speed zone in accordance with Section 2B.13, Speed Limit Sign (R2-1), of the latest edition of the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CA MUTCD).
