The footprints of 2 electrical rooms will also need to be increased to comply with safety requirements. Work will span 9 levels in both East and West towers and will likely intersect with other ongoing projects inside the building. Installation of non-combustible hoods and or shields over electrical equipment to prevent the entry of water from sprinkler heads; the addition of drip shields on panels where required. These shall be installed in any electrical room or area that electrical equipment is where sprinkler heads exist. TIMELINE: Stage II Invitation to bid is anticipated to prequalified Bidders February 2024. Anticipated Contract Award April 17th, 2024.
