The Work Consists of Installing 181 Lf of 12, 15 Lf of 10, 658 Lf of 8, and 27 Lf of 6 Waterline, Two Fire Hydrants, 747 Lf of 8 Sewer, 5 Manholes, Reconnecting Water/sewer Services, Reconstruct 3120 Sy of Street Surface With 4-1/2 Asphalt and Various Incidental Items. The City of Newcastle (Owner) Reserves the Right to Reject Any and/or All Bids and to Waive Any Informalities if Deemed in the Best Interest of the Town. No Bid May Be Considered Unless Accompanied by the Required Bid Guarantee of 5% of the Total Bid Amount Which Amount Shall Be Forfeited if the Bidder is Awarded the Contract and Fails to Enter Into a Contract With the Owners. Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Provide Payment and Performance Bonds in an Amount of at Least 100% of Awarded Contract Price. Any Specialty Subcontractors Shall Be Required to Submit Proof of Experience of at Least Three Years for the Specialty Work to Be Performed.
