Renovation of a municipal facility in Waterbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
1. Scope of Work Summary. Anticipated services to be performed by the Contractor will include, but are not limited to, the following a. Prospective Proposers should examine the attached Material Inspection Reports, review any notes taken during their site inspection and consult with a qualified hazardous materials abatement contractor to determine what will be required in support of the demolition and construction activities associated with this project, including but not limited to, providing additional asbestos-containing materials inspection. The lump sum price presented in his Proposal shall reflect the cost of any required inspections, and the proper removal, handling and disposal of any and all regulated materials. b. Remove existing roofing surface and provide proper disposal of all demolition material. c. Protect and secure the exposed roof against inclement weather and leaks of any kind. d. Repair or replace any damaged or deteriorated roof deck. e. Replace insulation to meet or exceed current codes. f. Replace all flashing, coping, gravel stops, drip edge, pitch pockets, etc. g. Install new roofing to replace existing roofing surfaces. h. Evaluate the roof drainage system and make any necessary repairs or replacements. i. Clean work area after completion of work. j.
