To construct an Office Building Addition (about 5,200 sf) along with all other specified building and related site improvement work. Project Location: 100 and 102 County Drive, Yorktown, VA. Questions or comments related to this solicitation shall be directed to the Contract Officer not later than 1:00 p.m. on November 20, 2023. All questions shall be submitted in writing (email is preferred). Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds: The Successful Bidder shall execute and provide to the Owner, following Notice of Award, Performance and Payment Bonds with surety in an amount equal to 100% of the accepted Bid. Bid Bond: Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bidder's bond issued by a company authorized and licensed to transact business as surety in the Commonwealth of Virginia, a certified check, or cash escrow, in an amount equal to not less than five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Treasurer, County of York, Virginia
