Modernization & Site Work Project to be located at Hopeton School - 2241 West Turlock Road Snelling, CA 95369. The building modernization shall include, demolition, new wood framing, electrical, fire alarm, HVAC & Plumbing, roofing, insulation, storefront, stucco, doors & hardware, sheetrock, FRL, suspended ceiling, flooring, interior & exterior painting. The Site work scope shall include asphalt and concrete demolition, installation of water lines, sewer lines, storm drain lines and electrical conduits and wiring, as well as new concrete and asphalt paving, slurry seal, striping, fencing and landscaping. The work shall be performed within the following time frame: (150 days) The District has determined the general prevailing rate to be the per diem wages for each craft or type of workman or mechanic needed to execute this contract as set forth in the collective bargaining agreements for Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Merced Counties, California.. COMPLIANCE MONITORING: This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations, Office of the Labor Commissioner. Copies of all collective bargaining agreements relating to the work are on file and available for inspection in the office of the California Department of Industrial Relations, Division of the Labor Statistics and Research, 455 Golden State Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94102, (415-703-4780). In compliance with SB 854, no Contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1 (a)]. In addition, no contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. A valid Type B, Contractors License will be required. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received.
