Tiffin Developmental Center Nevada Roof Replacement Requests for interpretation may be responded to by the A/E. Any change to bidding documents will be issued by addendum. Any question which may result in a change in bid documents must be submitted by November 6, 2023. A. The project work consists of roof recover at the Nevada Building at the Tiffin Developmental Center. Project includes recover of existing roof with fully adhered fleeceback EPDM membrane, replacement of all flashings, gutters, downspouts, fascias, trims, and a small portion of asphalt shingle replacement. B. Allowances 1. Refer to specification section 012100 Allowances for details. 2. Allowance #1 includes cost for 90 SF of wet insulation replacement at 18 locations. 3. Allowance #2 includes cost for 820 SF of plywood deck replacement. C. Unit Prices 1. Refer to specification section 012200 Unit Prices for details. 2. Unit Price #1 includes cost per SF for wet insulation replacement. 3. Unit Price #2 includes cost per SF for plywood deck replacement. D. Alternates 1. Refer to specification section 012300 Alternates for details. 2. Alternate #1: Provide 145 mil fleeceback EPDM membrane in lieu of base bid 115 mil fleeceback. 1.2 CONTRACTS A. Construct the work under a single prime lump sum general contract. 1.3 CONTRACTOR'S USE OF PREMISES A. Contractor's use of the premises is limited for work and for storage, and to allow for the Owner's occupancy and use of the existing building during construction operations. B. Coordinate use of premises under the Architect/Engineer and Owner's representative direction. 1. Protect adjacent facilities, services, pavement and buildings against damage caused by construction operations. 2. Use of adjacent on site driveways, service roads and parking areas for construction traffic, delivery of materials, removal of materials and debris, equipment parking and worker parking, except as otherwise directed by the Owner's representative, will not be permitted. 3. Access to the site, on-site vehicle movement, storage and worker parking shall be coordinated with the Owner's representative.
