Any revisions to the solicitation will be made only by addendum issued by the buyer The selected contractor, under the direction of the County, shall perform in a satisfactory and proper manner all the necessary services required under this solicitation, subject to the following conditions Existing EPDM membrane will be removed and disposed of. The existing insulation an built up roof will remain. Wet insulation will need to be removed and replaced with dry insulation to match thickness at a square foot price New 1.5 Polyiso insulation (20PSI) will be installed over the existing and mechanically attached in place. A 60 mil black Carlisle or equivalent non-reinforced EPDM membrane will be fully adhered in place. All pipes and curbs flashed Existing edge metal will remain in place as able. New shop fabricated .040 mil finish aluminum edge metal will be installed to match the existing as close as possible. A new Bilco S-20 roof hatch will be installed back in the existing location. (the existing hole will not be enlarged due to existing steel) A manufactures standard 20 year warranty to be included. Shop fabricated drain inserts will be installed in the existing downfalls. Existing roof drains to remain in place. Bergton Community Center located 17784 Criders Road, Criders Virginia. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid value. Bid security must be in the form of a cashiers check, a certified check, or a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to conduct business in Virginia and acceptable to the County A labor and material payment bond and a performance bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, to waive any informality, and to delete items prior to making an award. The County at its discretion may enter into an agreement with multiple bidders.
