Renovation of a multi-residential development in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
OCH seeks a qualified provider experienced in implementing a full-service water management program; providing proper water treatment and monitoring to closed loop heating and cooling systems in high-rise and/or low-rise residential buildings. The intention is for a quarterly scheduled program each year. The Contractor is responsible to provide quarterly water treatment to closed loop systems as listed in Schedule H- OCH Location of Work including initial lab analysis, and a report identifying the condition of the water / glycol systems, and recommendations for treatment. Recommendations shall be based on providing chemical treatment using the same chemistry as found in the water systems or using organic inhibitor where no treatment is found. It is the intent of the scope of this project to bring water / glycol systems chemical treatment to within control limits without draining and flushing the systems. If the recommendation is to drain and flush the system, a procedure, products to be used, and quotation for the cost shall be provided.
