Renovation of a water / sewer project in Belleview, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The City of Belleview is seeking to pre-qualify contractors for the construction of a Belleview Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) Expansion Project. All interested contractors are hereby invited to submit a qualifications package on the above referenced project. All persons and firms wishing to submit a qualifications package must obtain a complete copy of the pre-qualification documents. The City of Belleview is seeking to pre-qualify contractors for the construction of a Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) Expansion Project (Project). Only pre-qualified contractors will be invited to bid this project. This project is located at 5820 SE 116th Street, Belleview, Florida, 34420. The WWTF has been recently improved to allow for a rerating of the facility from 0.76 million gallons per day (MGD) to 1.0 MGD. The expansion of the WWTF will include improvements to increase the capacity to 1.5 MGD and replace multiple aging components. These improvements will include: - New at grade headworks with two new mechanically cleaned influent screens - New influent pump station - Demolition of the existing elevated headworks and influent pump station - Structural modifications to an existing, concrete lined surge pond - One new 0.5 MG pre-stressed concrete sequencing batch reactor (SBR) equipped with jet aeration and mixing - Replacement of the jet mixing and aeration equipment in two existing SBRs - Expansion of an existing blower building - New cast-in-place concrete tank with common wall construction of two filter feed tanks (post-EQ) and three aerobic digesters - New filter feed pump station - Demolition of existing common wall filter feed tanks, digesters, and filter feed pump station - Two new filter tanks to house relocated disc filters - Structural modifications to two existing chlorine contact chambers - New effluent pump station - New 1,500,000-gallon prestressed concrete reject ground storage tank - New sludge dewatering building with screw press - Demolition of existing sludge dewatering building - New plant drain station - Two new pre-cast electrical buildings - Electrical and I&C improvements - Misc. work to include yard piping modifications, site grading, stormwater improvements, stone columns for soil remediation This project will utilize state and federal funds from the Clean Water State Revolving Funds. Contractors will be required to comply with State Revolving Fund rules including, but not limited to, the Davis-Bacon Act and American Iron and Steel Provisions.
