The Rexburg City WWTP is located at 468 North 5th West in Rexburg, Idaho. The plant is owned and operated by Rexburg City. The plant receives and treats domestic, commercial, and industrial wastewater generated within the City's collection system The plant produces secondary disinfected water that is discharged into the Teton River that runs adjacent to the WWTP site. The existing WWTP includes influent screening, grit removal, a trickling filter/roughing tower, oxidation ditches, secondary clarification, UV disinfection, and related solids handling/digestion facilities. The upgrades associated with this RFP include expansion of the existing headworks building. The expanded building will house a new fine screen, relocated existing screening equipment, screenings washer/compactor equipment, and grit washing/classification equipment. A new grit removal chamber will be installed adjacent to the headworks building. Design of the new building expansion, including channels, piping, and other aspects will be tailored in accordance with the requirements and recommendations of the selected equipment's manufacturer. Questions or objections to specifications, design criteria or other aspects of the RFP process must be received and acknowledged by the Design Engineer at least five (5) business days before the date and time at which proposals are scheduled to be received. Questions or exceptions furnished after this time may not be addressed or answered. The OWNER reserves the right to award in part or in whole or to reject any or all proposals.
