There is another capital improvement project to realign the Groesbeck intersection with the railroad tracks and place additional quad gates for the railroad and new traffic signals for vehicles on both Finfeather and S. College. This project design has been completed and the City is awaiting final plans for trackside improvements from Union Pacific Railroad prior to letting the project to bid. The Groesbeck Extension project will connect to that Groesbeck Quiet Zone project and extend a new road between S. College and Texas Avenue aligning with E 32nd Street. E 32nd Street turns into Carter Creek Parkway which is a collector roadway that provides southeastward mobility to E 29th Street which turns into Tarrow Avenue in College Station leading to University Drive.
