Est. Value: $ 765,000.00 Est. Value Notes: Engineer's Estimate. Base bid estimate is above. Alternate bid items for water improvements are approximately $200,000. Est. Completion Date: Sept. 30, 2024 Bids will be received for base and alternative options for the project and the city council and Iowa American Water Company will decide which of the options will be awarded for construction. Alternate bid items for water improvements are approximately $200,000. Construction must begin by May 1, 2024. Final completion of project must be attained by September 30, 2024. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of City of Blue Grass, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The City of Blue Grass reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
